Am I looking in the wrong place. Lots of questions about what skis to buy but virtually no reviews. Do you guys just hit the Sundown rental shop or something?

Hmm. I'll write one up in a week or two after I spend some time on my Addicts. Haven't had enough time on my Wateas to review. Normally I just spread comments about my opinion of the Twisters around, actually started a ski comparison thread on BMM's board to that effect.

One thing that would be really nice is some sort of community-fed comparative database. Enter two skis that you've skied, which one has better float, edge grip, etc., and just general rankings. With enough data, you could get it to figure out good suggestions for skis by determining skiers with similar likes and dislikes.

Epicski is a far better site for that kind of thing. I've posted a couple here and some others have but it happens rarely. It's a smaller community compared to Epicski I presume.

I've been including a bit of a review in my TR's on my experiences with my first "all mountain" ski but not a formal write up.

I've put a few reviews into general gear threads about my watea's. I also usually do the Ride-em and Rank-em at WA in the spring testing out next years gear. I do a write up about all the ski's I test.

After I go to Utah and can really test out the Watea's I'll put a better review. So far I only have one powder day at Cannon on them.

I've commented on my High Socitey FRs in trip reports, but really don't have enough time one them to do a full write up, especially in the conditions I bought them for.
