Gunny Bumps - 10/11 season

Not trying to compare Sundown to big K but is this the basic idea for Gunny next year, having a few rows of bumps on an otherwise groomed trail (referring to top of SS)?

What about my idea? Put up jersey (concrete barriers} to prevent the racers from crashing into the moguls

Mount Snow did a similar thing; bumps down the center, groomed strips on the left and right. I thought it worked out really well.

Tough to have a trail that simultaneously has enough width to be used for racing and bumps and then still have enough space left for the general public, let alone the snowmaking capacity to quickly lay down enough product for all 3. When in doubt, safety concerns very often trump entertainment concerns in the ski industry

That's the general idea, we'll see if it flies or not though...

How recent is that SS pic-- may need to get up there this weekend. Wanted to get out last weekend to no avail-- spring cleaning and cub scouts.
