I have no idea what the fastest I've ever gone is, probably in the 60's when I was younger, but GPS didn't exist then to really track it.

Last year the Loaf we hit 58.5 on Hayburner.

My 1 year old is doing a speed camp on Avalanche Thursday and.Friday and they will use a Radar gun on him. interested to see how fast he will go..I figure he go 50-55 MPH

This has got to be a joke. Kids don't even learn to walk until they are around a year old.

I bet I could reach speeds of 2mph while skiing switch down Meadowlark at Smuggs. While towing a kid on a snowboard.

In all seriousness though.. I have done some pretty fast runs down Cruiser at Sugarbush early in the morning .. back when I was only skiing alpine.

First time I skiied was when I was 2 years old.. I'm guessing that was Nashoba Valley

I think my Dad took me to Blandford a few times when I was real little.. and Maple Valley when that was still open

Wasn't able to bomb down diamonds until I'm guessing 5 or 6... at Butternut.. so "diamonds" ;)

1 year old on skis does sound a little young

Sunriser Supertrail @ Stratton - 63.3 MPH according to SkiTracks app. Lapped the trail quite a few times and consistently clocked close to or above 60MPH, so it must be close to the real speed.

Kidderbrook at Stratton is a good trail to really let them rip.

I opened it up on that trail a couple of times last season. Some older dudes were egging me on and I cranked up the heat on them. No idea what the speed was, but it felt way faster than I've ever gone before or care to go again. Ski patrol was probably very unhappy with the 4 of us howling by.

The fastest I've been clocked was 56mph on the training slope at Burke. Its a scary speed! I was purposely bleeding off speed because I was uncomfortable. Two other members in our party were clocked at 65 and 67mph. All I could think about was how much that crash would suck!

Was that on Lower Warren's Way with a "Speed Trap" race?
That is where I have clocked 63 mph. I know I've gone a little faster than that but not by much.

I hear Kitzbuhel's pretty fast.

Ouch, 1:12 looked like it hurt.

I would say pretty much any relatively straight advanced trail can get you going pretty fast.

My fastest was probably around 60 straight lining White Heat. I probably could have gone faster but I got absolutely launched off of a whale near the intersection with Shockwave and decided I had had enough
