I love riding the Skyeship at K from the base station; that's the #2 for me right behind the Wildcat quad. Skyeship is a good place to have lunch while riding the lift. The K-1 is alright; just don't like the rude gapers that go into that line on the weekends and all of them that expect to stay together when going into the singles line. Heck, if you go into it, that's the risk you take; and if anything, you're only separated for a 5/6 minute ride. #3 on my list is the North Peak Quad at Sunday River as it's a good lift to lap on and it almost never has a line; I can count on it on tougher days in which other lifts are on hold. Even when I went there earlier this season, it only had a few chair wait when it, the South Ridge lifts, Spruce, and lower White Caps were what was running on a Sunday morning. Really makes up for when there's a shortcoming over there.

The little whiteface double has spectacular views. Should definitely be on the list. Feels scary. Few lifts in the East are like that. And it accesses solid terrain.

I know some have mentioned it before but I'll throw my vote in for Madonna. Also, Timberline at the Loaf. Some of the best scenery and services great terrain.

That sounds like a great idea in general. What about a Lazy Boy ski lift

With cupholders

We could buy cup holder they sell at Autozone fit perfect in bubble, some nice relaxing whiskey in bubble couch to get to top of Mount Snow that is awesome idea.

My favorites...this is based on a combination of views, type of terrain it serves, uniqueness of lift, and that hard to explain special feeling you get while riding the lift:
Black Mtn NH Double
Kennebago Quad (Saddleback)
Madonna I (Smuggs)
Red Chair (Magic)
Tram (Cannon)
King Pine Quad (Sugarloaf)
Castlerock Double (Sugarbush)

Timberline at the loaf.

I understand that these lists are written from a different perspective than the ones shared by the majority of this board, but come on, why would ragged six-pack be on anyones list. By that logic why not have the chondola on there as well.

(Disclaimer: I love skiing ragged when the glades are good, but there is nothing special about that lift other than that it is a six-pack.)

Love the Wildcat Express. Too bad they didn't get enough snow this year.

10. Beartrap Double - I'm a big fan of a 2 minute lift ride with a nice bump run underneath... nothing like spending hours lapping Beartrap on a sunny day, and there's no rest for the weary with that lift.

8. Burke Poma - Lost its luster a bit with the new Quad (not the fast way up anymore), but still a classic steep surface lift.

Great lifts! And don't forget the tunes you usually hear when on Beartrap. Unless it's that "hippie" music stuff.

The Burke Poma is awesome. Fast and steep. I took a snowboard up that a few times. I wonder if Dan Egan tried that?

Dan Egan uses an innertube on the Burke Poma.

Glad to see that Burke kept the Poma. I think they were going to do some repairwork on it this season so that the Pomas once again detached from the lift. The release device broke last season. That is a nice lift.

It's interesting to see how many folks are ranking the new MidBurke Express as their favorite on this lift. What a change for Burke from the Willoughby Quad.

Worst errors in the article: The Cannon tram is 2.1 miles long! And the summit elevation is 5,359 feet! The 1500 feet per minute is dubious too. Although it would be nice if it were all true. That would be 3,400 vertical feet with a 7.4-minute ride.
