Hunter will Open when its right. The last few years, the Bell has given a date and has MISSED it.

They used to. I have skied it in early Nov in the past. They may have found it a money loser, and I'm not critical of their decision, but they used to be aggressive on both ends of the season and I was one of crazies that patronized them. I miss it but don't blame them.

I know we all used to ski early at Hunter what I'm talking about is putting a date down as to when the lifts start spinning..
It's ridiculous this far out..

Based on some comments yesterday made by Mount Snow's GM on their passholders website, if the temps cooperate next week , push Mount Snow's opening up to likely next Saturday the 10th

Hunter will Open when its right. The last few years, the Bell has given a date and has MISSED it.

Belleayre always missed their date because it was unrealistic in the past, it was usually the second weekend in November. Except for a couple of really warm Novembers they have opened the weekend after Thanksgiving. So their date of Nov. 24th is realistic given average or below average temps. If they open when they say I'll be there on the 28th or 29th.

Also Bromley says 11/23.

Jiminy Peak in MA is making snow now according to their facebook, so maybe they plan on opening soon, maybe Hunter will start making snow to.
