do you save them and wear like a badge of honor on your jacket?

No, but my son is pretty proud of his collection for the year. He'll need a new jacket next season anyway and can start over. With almost everyone using zip ties now it makes for quite a cluster f after a while.

Yeah I did that when I was a kid also but not anymore.

For a couple years I had a Sunday River one on a jacket for like four years. I just never got around to cutting it off

Does anyone save them after clipping them off just as memorabilia? Lift-ticket Hoarder?

I do that with golf score cards to remember the courses I've played, and I started doing it this year with lift tickets. But only one per place (i.e. I skied Windham for the first time this year, and that ticket will be the only one I ever keep from there).

I hate the clutter. Maybe I will start using Evernote to just snap a pic and save it virtually.

That would be me. I've been saving them since I was about 10 or so, about 30 years worth. Nice cheap (kinda) souvenir. Also, if I pull a lift ticket out of the bag, there's a good chance I can remember the day. Good way to spark memories.

It was cool in 1994 but now it's a tell-tale sign of a gaper!! haha

I do keep all my old tickets in a box though...with all my trail maps.

I'm saving mine from Magic last Friday, 'cause they took those sticky labels you'd use in a printer and wrote the date on it... dunno whether to call it ghetto, or redneck, or what, but it was too funny.

It's pretty lame. Nobody cares that you ski, it's your phone that counts :-o

You know, I read something a few days ago that nowadays a women will quickly judge a guy by the phone he uses, even more than the car you drive.

I could not find any supporting evidence however based on a 20 second Google search

Last week during the storm I hit up Wa Wa, all my gear was in NH. I pulled and OLD pair of pants from the attic and they had a ticket from 1998 on them. My Wa Wa pass was in NH so I had to get a paper ticket. I will keep those 2 on the pants just to laugh at the length of time between the 2. Hopefully 15 years from now when I have to pull them down again I will add a third ticket to the collection.

It's only a good look if they are attached to the jacket's main zipper so they constantly flap in your face while skiing downhill.

After awhile I cut them, sometimes an old one surfaces on a jacket, ski boot or glove. My oldest daughter has skiied quite a bit with me this year & has all of hers. She is very proud & can easily count the days she has been out and where. For awhile I did throw them in my annual ski folder but after awhile old lift tickets & ski maps just seem to add to the clutter.

Elk still uses the metal wickets and sticky tickets (metal wickets and sticky tickets is the name of my new album, coincidentally), and i'm too lazy to take it off every time i go, so i just stick the new one over the old ones...they expressly ask you not to do that, but no one has ever said anything to me...eventually i'll have to cut it off i guess :(
