Few of them ski, most never leave the basement. It is more likely to be 18 burned out hippies in Waitsfield holding signs nobody will see and the rest of us will have an awesome weekend. I for one hope the VP and his family have a good time and are treated with respect.

I'm still struggling with the make the trip/cancel the trip decision. Have to decide by tonight. Concerned about the freeze/thaw/rain. Going to Telluride the following weekend.

There will be a protest, it will be much larger than 18, and many people will see it. You underestimate the will of Vermonters. There will also be a pro Vance protest in Warren. Notice how they would not allow both groups in the same space. That is the biggest travisty.

Honestly, I don’t give a shit and want to ski with my family. If JD wants to ski with his family, he should be afforded the right and respect. That’s my view. Hopefully it isn’t a shitshow, I don’t expect it will be. For all the online bluster most people irl are avoidant and don’t like conflict. I hope JD jumps right on Gate house, goes to Bravo and enjoys the day.
