Cheetah we get it your a skier conservative. All good. But this is also a very liberal state that doesn't realy care for his bosses politics. over 60% did not vote for him. So they get to show non support. That is America at its finest. Much like the reception the Biden Administration got in Florida and Texas. Same thing.

We don't have that problem at sugarbush. We ski North Linx, castlerock or snowball in the morning that face south. Later in the season sugarbush changes hours to 10 to 5 also.

As a construction person I actually like DST. We get light earlier on the construction site and the afternoon is irelevant because the work is over at 2 or 3.
Yeah, I know SB pivots hours, but they are one of the few who do. Trust me, myself and others you know tried to convince SR to do similar for years. What we repeatedly got is "our employees want time at home with their families.".

So Foolish They are. It used to be such a spring paradise. I actually miss White heat in April and May. That is where most of my long term SR friendships were forged.

Tell MB to step it up over there. Wheeler and the others too!

We've all banded together and tried. Not budging. My personal spring favorite was Eureka when they made snow on it. Wish they would again, especially with Jordan the closing pod now. Of course, you have to deal with the scree field mess below the rebuilt Kansas on that and Lost Princess in Oz now, horrible mess in the spring.

non support away, I don't recall saying not to, other than I think it's silly at a ski resort and on a powder day. If that "outed" me, well then. I don't begrudge protesting, we used to have those code pink protests down here in MA all the time until 2009, thought they were silly too but not as silly as on a prime weekend in VT with great snow. Now that is just over the top silly. I will be in Warren, but NOT protesting.

OK 5" of Glop and then maybe another 3 or 4 tonight. More on Saturday and colder. It all adds up you know. ;-)
I meant that as a positive...5" of glop will stick around. Groomers will be nice on the weekend; bumps may be a bit firm

No one is outing you. Just saying that Protest is not silly. it is democracy in action. If everybody just said nothing all the time then drastic change would happen unchecked. That is all. As a moderate I stand in the middle watching both sides. I think both have issues but that is America also.

Not planning on skiing this weekend so hopefully we can avoid any nonsense at the mountain, just hope the surrounding area isn’t a shit show. We were hoping to get to flatbread on Saturday

Do the par-bake takeout, unless you like waiting for hours in the bar...which can be fun, too

I hope no one does anything stupid, but I also hope they give him and ear and eyeful. Not that it will change his mind, but blocking traffic or disrupting the skiing will only make VT look like more of a freakshow to the 'Merica crowd.

I think Hunter Pence-type signs are in order...

I think we have good upside potential for snow tomorrow and again Sat. Josh is actually calling for 8-12 tomorrow and 6-12 Sat, elevation dependent. Mid mountain and up should be quite good skiing this weekend. Sunday is going to be very cold with really cold windchill.

Maybe we’ll do that. We’re just driving up from ct on Saturday so not much planned for that day so we’ll probably see what the wait is like. Wish peasant was still around, that was my favorite spot.

Honestly the wait wasn't too bad at Flatbread last time I was there. I don't mind having some wine hanging out at Flatbread waiting for a table.

And I'll second the peasant comment. I really miss them. I feel like I barely have a desire to go out to dinner much anymore with them gone.

You can order online and set your pickup time. Super easy.
