Bene is still new, putting on his best "I'm a local and know everything" suit on.

I said that I repeated what I heard a few others say, and I also literally simultaneously stated that I specifically don't know if it rings true or not.

But sure, do your troll thing. Or get a hobby (and a life).

They dont mean "fake" interlodges, but meaning that with the increasing traffic snarl (you yourself have said it's getting worse and worse) it's leading to increasing risk of potentially earlier interlodge calls for safety reasons in that with even more people on the road = more risk. As I mentioned, no idea how much (or if any) of that is true or not or whether there are perceived or real legal risk considerations at play, just parroting what I've heard. Sounds like you dont believe this is a thing, but at least for the few who mentioned it, their fear of getting stuck seemed real.
From my POV nothing has changed.

You mean that in the numerous times Rob K has said that one of Vail's goals to the grow the sport via getting groups of folks into the sport that typically haven't been in the past (queue up the images as he's saying this of inner city folks of a diverse background), is just a smoke and mirrors thing? :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Frankly I am suprised that none of the big mega passes have partnered up with the Big Snow/Snow operating folks who have put in place a plan, that thye ARE taking to many small feeder hills to really make an attempt to get more people into the sport, at an afforadable price point. Joe Hession and his crew have a strong vision for growing the sport and seem to be backing up their talk
Joe has something going - BS to Mountain Creek and soon a few other resorts on a pass....Read about it a couple of weeks ago

I went to the Mumford and Sons concert at CV Expo where Noah Kahan was a special guest. Of the 5 songs he played he chose to include “Paul Revere” with an expletive laden intro to let everyone know just how he feels about Vail. The 10,000+ crowd was in full and loud agreement.

Wish avail would pull a Powdr with some of their VT resorts.

Wait, Noah just started randomly ripping on Vail during his performance? What was the context?

I may have to go see this guy play.

Right where I want to be
County line, I'm countin' down
Mailboxes until my house
This place had a heartbeat in its day
Vail bought the mountains and nothin' was the same
Yes, the boys are drunk, the sun is high
Their license plates, "Live Free or Die"
But it just ain't that simple, it never was
We'll drink to New Year's, then they'll leave me to clean up

I thought Stuart Winchester’s interview with Katz was interesting. Bottom line: Katz exuded confidence in the future but ultimately provided nothing in the way of a plan to get there.

I think that Stuart tried to give him the benefit of the doubt base on Katz’s history, but the stock continues to tumble indicating that Wall Street isn’t buying it.

Stock value was way overinflated. Its never going back there and shouldn't have been there to begin with.
Based on current statistics, the entire Stock Market is in a bubble. Values are what people are willing to pay for something. For example, the $4 a share Peak Resorts stock on a Friday, turned into an $11 per share price the next Monday morning based on what MTN offered for it. Was Peak underpriced or did Vail pay too much?

Didn't hear a lot of change comments or "we are going to be better." Basically defended everything they've been doing except buddy ticket pricing.
I heard a lot of spinning. As in, crowds are not a bad thing--it means "we are welcoming everyone". He also was really selling the whole EPIC day pass program.

Did he comment on Wildcats snowmaking being cancelled until January due to the current August drought? I figure that announcement should be coming soon.
