Nice! There is no sign of that on the top or bottom of Belt though - and the Bottom has the worst snow making clinate. So with the current weather outlook - including rain on Tuesday and Wednesday- it will take a Herculean push on Thursday to get that ready for next weekend.
True that. I wouldn't be betting on much terrain expansion before next weekend either. Maybe with very cooperative weather they get more Hunter East learning area terrain open - I remembered after posting that it looked like they've blown some around/under the C & Otis lifts. Which is a bit weird, because of what you said about the lower mountain's snowmaking climate, but there we are.

Hunter East is worth the effort because they can cover under an acre and make themselves open for beginners.

I can see the North/West sides from my house, last week they made snow down the belt till it meets the Northern Express. Probably that'll be it till the weather turns.
Interesting. Doesn’t really let them open anything new in the foreseeable future - but I can see that being a high traffic area that could use a head start on base building

They try, but cant seem to make it work there.....the roof over the coppertree restaurant is still not done....buckets and stuff all over the roof...

Folks on the lift yesterday were complaining that pricey locker room they had to put out all the ski racks etc on opening weekend. They had to fill the hot chocolate machine and it looks like it had not been cleaned, the water machine was off (?), and they coffee pot still has to be washed in the slop sink, and they had to change toilet paper.

There is no attendant and the same woman who has crashed the place for the last 2 years is still coming in daily. Apparently the parking lot is still uncontrolled and a SS.
What does this place cost?? The lift ride is only 8 minutes, I am sure I would have heard more.....
