Looking for a new pair of skis. Over the last few years I have used:
Cham 107s - absolutely loved these and seriously considering finding a new pair.
Atomic Theory 90s these were a little more responsive and quicker imo
Line Prophet 90s - heavy and slow yo respond. Started the season on these and after a few days went back to the chams. Broke on of them on one of the last days of the season and rode the lines until the end.
Nordica Dead Money 90s - these arenas on groomers and packed powder but the aren’t great in the deep powder.
Looking for an all mountain ski that can handle the trees, bumps, groomers and powder equally well. Bonus points for twin tips. Is 100 at the waist enough or should I go for something wider?
I have always picked up a pair at the ski swap for under 100 bucks. Willing to spend a bit for a good pair but want to make sure I choose wisely. Should I go to a demo shop with this info and take what they give me?
