I skied the 100K challenge the last time they had snow (2005) and it was tough getting to 50 runs. I think they stop you now at 48. Between the slower terrain, low visibility - I forgot my goggles and high wind, it was a real challenge. Nice event and the folks at Wildcat are very supportive. You need some strong legs and after 20 or 30 runs, the mind begins to wander and you need to be careful not to crash b/c you're not paying attention. Participants have all on Lynx to themselves and it is ski-on - no wait.
