there is a vp in our office who can pretty much hold an entire meeting speaking in cliche'. Its been discussed, rather seriously, to play bullshit bingo with him at some point but nobody has sacked up and done it.

"Absolutely" when used to answer a simple yes or no question is on the top of my list.
"Just Saying" is pretty annoying. It's a way of not taking ownership of a total douche-bag statement.

Whatever, at the end of the day who actually cares anyway? It is what it is... You know what I mean.

The cliche that always sets me off is "you have to think outside the box". Invariably, it's uttered by a Dilbert's Boss-type who doesn't have a clue how to get out of some mess he caused.

How am I supposed to think outside the box when I live my life in a cube?

Not really, just sayin'.

Predates this year, but it wasn't long ago that someone decreed that you have to say "issue" when you mean "problem".

actually two words, but this one makes me scratch my head. "just sayin.." umm, you just said it, so why do you need to TELL us after you said it that you just said it.

beyond stupid and a crutch of a few forum members on this place.

"Fullsome" is a favorite around here. As in "we'll provide a fullsome update at the next meeting." It's funny if you take the original and proper menaing of fullsome.

My boss went through a phase of saying it quite a lot too. I've either just become oblivious to it, or he stopped saying it.

It's kinda condescending.. Like we don't know what the obvious result will ultimately be...
