Hello everyone,

Last year, my wife and I raffled off a bunch of lift tickets to support the Breast Cancer 3-Day and Susan G. Komen for the Cure. We were really excited by the amount of support we got from the AlpineZone community. We're really hoping you all will step to the plate again this year and help us raise some money for breast cancer research!

We didn't get as many lift tickets donated this year as last year, but we got some new mountains we didn't have before, and I think there are some great tickets in this bunch. As usual, if we do get any more tickets that haven't arrived yet, we'll add them to the raffle when we get them.

One big difference this year: the drawing will be held December 9th, so everyone should have their tickets before Christmas vacation week! This year, individual raffle tickets are still just $1 each, but we've added a Super Ticket for $5 that gets you one entry in each raffle bucket - that's like getting 3 raffle tickets for free!

The following mountains have been nice enough to donate lift tickets:

Black Mountain
Bromley Mountain
Pat’s Peak
Ragged Mountain
Saddleback
Shawnee Peak
Waterville Valley
Whiteface/Lake Placid

Visit www.kittiesforacure.com/ski.html to enter the raffle.

Thanks in advance for your support!

Take care,

Jason

P.S. - if you'd like to know how this year's Breast Cancer 3-Day went, visit our web page at www.graham-ellis.com and click on our "3-Day Photo Diary" link. It was a fun and exciting weekend, and Carrie and I can't wait until next year!

Important Update!

New today! Anyone who purchases a Super Ticket (including those who already have done so) will also be entered into a drawing to win one of two free ski tune-ups from Strand's Ski Shop in Worcester, MA. This is a special bonus for Super Ticket holders - it will not be offered as a stand-alone raffle item.

Special thanks to Strands for stepping up and donating the two tune-ups to use as a bonus prize.

Once again, snag your raffle tickets at www.kittiesforacure.com. 100% of the funds raised goes to support breast cancer research and advocacy and helps Carrie and I get closer to our goal to donate $5,000 to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

I would just like to remind everyone that we are still selling tickets to the Ski for a Cure raffle. This is a great opportunity to win some great lift tickets by making a small donation to support breast cancer research and advocacy.

Please visit http://www.kittiesforacure.com/ to get your raffle tickets, or visit Andy's Sport Shop in Fitchburg, Mass. to buy the tickets in person.

Thanks,

Jason

Thanks for the bids, guys!

Raffle ends December 9th, so still tons of time for everyone to get in on this. We promise to have the tickets to you (barring unforeseen postal service delays) in your hands before winter break!

Also, don't hesitate to drop me a PM or ask in this thread if you want any more details about any of the tickets.

Nice! Saddleback and a tune-up. Do you send these out to the winners or should I pick it up somewhere? FYI there's no N in my last name.

I'll mail them out to you (trying to get them in the mail today but I have to leave for work at 11 so it might be tomorrow). Sorry about the N - I'll try not to do that on the envelope :p
