75th Anniversary Thunderbolt Ski Race is ON - March 13th

The Thunderbolt Ski Runners are having a major work day on the Bolt on Saturday March 6th to pack the trail. If you want to come along and help...bring your snowshoes and a shovel. We're meeting at 10 AM at Race HQ.

Gates and ribbon are going up as well.

The race will be on March 13th from 10 Am to 1:30 PM.

The 'Bolt is holding up quite nicely in spite of the summery weather we are having.

If you are going out this week it, please don't hike up the trail. Several people post-holed right up the center of the trail last Sunday - it really messes things up. Please use the Super Highway for your ascent. http://www.thunderboltskirun.com/rules.html

Bring your skis on Saturday because if you're not racing, you can always hike up and ski down after the race finishes at 2pm.
