An Area Of Low Pressure Will Develop Along The Mid Atlantic Coast On Sunday Evening And Track Northeast Into New England By Monday. This Will Spread Plenty Of Atlantic Moisture Into Our Region. Initially Temperatures Will Be Cold Enough For A Brief Period Of Snow...before The Precipitation Changes To Rain Across The Valley Locations Of Central And Northern Vermont. Meanwhile...the Airmass May Be Just Cold Enough Across The Higher Terrain Of The Adirondacks And Green Mountains To Support A Wet Accumulating Snow Event Late Sunday Night Into Monday. The Best Potential For Accumulating Snow Will Be Across The Northern And Central Green Mountains And Northern Adirondack Mountains Of New York Above 1500 Feet.

Will this be like the low pressure system that hammered the same area on the 26th of december? The same low pressure system that drove me away from weather forever?

Sunday River says 4-5" of new snow and Sugarloaf is reporting 1-2" at the base and 4" at the summit and still snowing as of 9:30am.

Radar shows the mix/rain line creeping northward though.

It's 11 am anybody know what it's doing at Burke? The Lyndon State web page has the temp at 35.

I don't. Have heard conflicting reports.

I am 70 miles south and it has been solid rain.

NHPR said 3 inches of snow in Franconia Notch.

Burke said 1 inch of new snow.

8" new at Sugarloaf, and it just changed over to a mix about one hour ago, but still what an awesome sight:
