but it makes this New England skier even more psyched. With this weather in NE, a trip west may become mandatory. Doing an AZ trip would do a lot in getting good group rates.

I want to go there this year, but I have to find stuff for the GF to do (she doesn't ski) so that she doesn't get bored, and I also need to build up my legs too

Come to Tahoe instead. I have a trip organized for the end of Feb. Plenty of stuff for the GF to do around Heavenly. And we'll be hitting Northstar and Kirkwood too.
