Wow, most excellent pictures. However, they envoke a mean streak in me as I only got about three days like that this season, non in my famed eastern resorts either. Fairly bad season out here. Utah looks good. porter

Well....those pictures were fantastic! They will help me get through the summer season for sure. I am definitely heading out to Big Sky next season. How's that view? What was your favorite day and area? The powder looks incredible. We don't get too many powder days like that here. It usually takes me a bit to get accustomed to skiing in the powda!

I think you are living my dream life! You look like a fun group! Thanks for sharing those pics.

The view from the top of Lone Peak at Big Sky is pretty impressive. Obviously, one can see for miles on a clear day (I haven't had too many of those up there in the past 15 years). The private millionaire's resort next door, the Yellowstone Club, looks very tiny from Big Sky. I always wonder if they feel they're getting their money's worth when they look up at Big Sky...

Great pictures. I was surprised to see some of the people I ski with in Killington in your pictures - MtnMan and TheTreeRat. You guys must have met up when they were out in the Tahoe area. I remember them telling me that they had a fantastic time and now I can see what they were talking about. Thanks for sharing.

Endless,

I wish I could ski as many days as you. Unfortunately being employed and having a family does interfere with pleasure sometimes. I will have to wait a few more years before we venture again beyond Killington. We did go to Steamboat last year for our 10th anniversary and I had the pleasure of skiing one of the chutes with my then 5 year old son. This year he was part of the Killington Ski Club and he has improved quite a lot. He now follows me everywhere including into the tree runs and sometimes urges me to duck the rope to get to the reserved stuff. He also loves to go to the terrain parks and do jumps off the tabletops.

We have a few more members in our group that can rip it up as well as MtnMan and TreeRat. I am usually the only female in the group and I usually lag behind the boys but they don't seem to mind having me along most of the time.

another question that came to my mind: how many days did you ski the last season. i am living about 300 km to the next big resort, and i came up to 47 for this season, but i guess you are about 100 or 150 ?

(sorry for bad english, but i didn't learn it even better at school :()

LSAP-
In the "About Me" section of SkiStreak.com it explains that I skied year-round for the first time in 1992. I enjoyed it so much I never stopped. It's been almost 12 years now.
My site is simply a photo and text journal of the whole experience.
As far as days skied - Years ago, when I had a job that encouraged me to do business on the slopes, I was able to get in those 100+ days. I haven't been able to do that since. But with more than 26 weekends in our lift-served season here in Utah, along with vacation days and some really good night skiing operations, I get a lot of days in. :D

I picked up on a new form of skiing that I doubt many, if any of you, do here:

is this guy grinding on a rail?

but why is this a new kindof skiin? I'm doin this for about 2 years (but I didn't win the battle over the rail yet)

Another thing thats also really freaky are skiers in FunParks. A friend of mine is doing backflips and 360°'s in the Park all the time ...
FREAKIN OUT ;)

the only thing i can do is just racing and some grabbin.
For powder I bought some "FatBoys" this season... a must have for every advanced skier :)
