A place to stay near smuggs

Hey guys me and my family are planning on spending a week at smuggs this year and i was just wondering if u guys new of any good places to stay

True. I have no ideahat the condo cost. I was like 9 or so.

Going there for a week over Christmas. Smuggs wanted $5500 for a package ( condo, lift tickets etc. ) Found a 3 bd, 1 bath house just renovated 4 miles away for $1500 for the week. Even with buying the lift tickets I still pocket over $2500. My kids are older so I don't need all the other stuff that comes with the package. Found it on vacationrentals.com. Haven't seen it first hand only going by the pictures on the site and some that the owners e-mailed me.

See if you can rent a timeshare at smuggs. Lots of people own them outright, and rent them out. Depending on the dates, might be able to find a decent enough deal.

Go here and click the "Hotels" link. The Smugglers' Notch Inn looks pretty nice.

Stay at the Sunset Motor Lodge in Morrisville, about 25 mins to mountain, right between Stowe and smuggs incase you want to mix it up a bit. Much cheaper there. There are only inn's in the Jeffersonville/Cambridge area.

Check out the Three Mountain Lodge. It's right on the mountain road like 2-3 miles away. They have a guest cottage they rent out---pretty reasonable rates. Not sure how big your fam is, but may be worth looking into.

Smuggs condos

Smuggs offers great packages with all day ski camp for the kids if you stay on property. Definetly ask for one of the new condos in North Hill (Kestrels). They have great amenities and are priced the same as older units.

Hi. To rent one of the great owner condos or timeshares at Smuggs, you just call Smuggs reservations directly. Most owners have Smuggs rent the weeks that they are not using their units. You want to work directly with Smuggs versus individual owners to be sure you get the full package of benefits the resort offers. Individual owners may offer a cheaper weekly rate, but can't offer package benefits (ski camps, funzone, pools, etc).

Be sure to tell them you want one of the newer condos (North Hill). These have the very best amenities and views. You can see the floorplans and unit types on www.smuggs.com
