The summer I lived in Maine...I went in the ocean......Once..

I go for a dip about twice a week from about the third week of June through the second week of September. Water is typically around 60-64. Of course this summer I'll be an hour south of here where the water will be like bath water, 64-68 :lol:

There are plenty of people who own dry suits and surf year round up here. November typically has the best surf.

Well, I thought I was dealing with it until I got a weather/snow report from Snowbird. "so go there" the wife says. 2 hours later trying to book a flight and I just couldn't swing it. Depressing...very depressing. Especialy when I could have stayed at the iron Blossom for $199.00 for the week!!!

It's not over for me yet. :D

But I think I'll be okay with saying goodbye after this weekend. This was not a season to remember for me.

Would you then consider making it the START of your '08-'09 season if its a good weekend??? :stirpot:
