I understand at this time of year there is a concious effort by resorts NOT to spend tons of money on snowmaking. To give them the benefit of the doubt perhaps their water resources have run low by now. Of course holidays are long gone and I know the majority of the public's mind is on spring and warm weather, not skiing/boarding (this forum being of course the exception).

Locally Mountain Creek had silenced the guns several weeks ago and really missed an opportunity to add to the base since we've had several weeks of sub-freezing temps.

Any mountains still trying to add to the base? Or am I wishful thinking? I would think in the good ole days K would be blowing snow on Superstar every chance they could get....after all they were looking to ski into June.....

Wachusett was blowing last week. At least they said so on the website. With temps forcast to be in 50's 60's next week I imagine they are done now.

Blue is still blowing snow, and they usually continue to blow snow late season until the temps no longer make it possible.

Sno is still blowing some snow as needed.

Wachusett may not be done yet... they will make more if the forecast is correct for more cold temps by next weekend.

We blew on our Spring trails until 2/11. With 83" in February and 25" in March so far, we think we are set up for a great and late Spring Season.
