Maybe their was a snag in the deal??

I heard the 16th now, but I think any date is still not really definite. It'll happen soon enough.

I am only depressed because despite all the snow that fell this past weekend, Killington has shut down lodges and many of the lifts. It hurts to know that there is good snow out there but you can't get to it without having someone pick you up with a car.

The deal is pretty complex and due diligence is probably taking a long time. There's a lot of stuff to inventory and check on...

ASC still hasn't posted the MS/Attitash deal closing press release on their website as of this AM, and that's closing in a week old now! I call conspiracy theory here! ;) I bet their secretly trying to delay it as long as possible to keep S & P and Powdr out of their as long as possible so that they won't come in and reopen the whole place and make ASC look worse as a management team than they already do (if that's possible!) ;) ;) ;)

Not in a press released, but with the SEC...

The 16th goneth by and no deal to be reported. As for teh complexities and SEC issues; I'm aware, I just find it interesting that the Atti/Mt. Snow deal closed early and this one may not. Perhaps S&P realized that really don't want Pico as part of the deal...
