btw- i encourage people not to participate in that survey. especially since they are not offering you anything for your time. you are providing them with free research and marketing data without having much input (limited at best). even if you like ASC and peak resorts, if you want your opinion heard it's better to get on the phone or show up at the sales/marketing desk than taking a survey that does not compensate you for your time or definitely show that your input makes anything better aside from their bottom line. just my two cents on that one...

Yeah, I noticed that as well... :-? ...sounds like ASC--something for nothing.

Though I did get a couple of free coffees for doing a short survey on the Sunday River Express Quad during the last day of our vaca.

So let me get this straight... You guys went to their site to see a commercial... the things that they pay radio and tv stations... and web sites big bucks to interrupt programs so that you can be forced to watch them?

And after that... you took a survey for them?

Well, I'm ahead on y'all. :D

 Now... If I could get Alpine Zone to pay me for reading this thread...

Definitely lame ads. Although SR has a lot to offer the general skiing public, It doesn't do a lot for me, in general. With a Bronze and a place to stay, I end up there a few times a year.

If that survey is generally representitive of ASC's marketing efforts, it would explain a lot about why they're (as my old boss would say) "sucking pond water".

With a degree and previous career in Marketing, a favorite quote of mine is from Dilbert: "If I could lie, I'd be in marketing."
