RI got it the worst. Connecticut, at least the north east part, had it much worse in the October rainstorm 4 years ago.

The vast majority of the issues in CT are confined (currently) the the extreme Eastern part of the state, basically bound by I-95 and I-395. Those tend to be just local issues as opposed to major road closures.

There's likely to be an increasing local road closure issues in the immediate Connecticut River area from Middletown on upto the Mass border in the coming days the tribuarties in Central/Northen New England that feed into the CT river drain their volumes on down towards Long Island Sound in the coming days.

Westerly got hammered. Half the town is underwater! My kids are out of school the rest of the week because a section of Rt 138 collapsed, and the bus company is on the other side of it! The Army Corps of Engineers is trying to get something across it, as it's a major route in the biggest little!
