Does anyone else have any of the Baby Einstein DVD's for their kids? We bought the entire set and the twins are crazy about them. They are a very clever idea.

When my daughter was younger, she basically ignored the TV, even the Baby Einstein videos. I've known of kids that are almost hypnotized by them though...

My daughter loved them too! She will be 3 in January and has at this point pretty much outgrown them. But when she was an infant, she was hypnotized by them. I think the same company is now producing a tv show on one of the kids networks that my daughter seems to enjoy now.

Lemme guess - she's graduated up to Dora the Explorer?

LOL, oh yes...Dora is definitely the femme fatale in my house!
My daughter will also be 3 in January. She was Dora for Halloween. Other favorites are Thomas the tank engine and Diego. Going to see the Wiggles live on Friday..... Woohoo!

 Its so funny what you find yourself doing as a parent.
No kidding. I don't mind this stuff though. In fact, I love seeing my daughter's reaction to these things. It will make sitting through those corney Wiggles songs worth it...

Yes I generally love seeing her reaction to new things too. I went to Sesame Street live last year ...I was able to get out of it 2 weeks ago and went mtn biking, while the wife took her this year.

Gregg..those wiggles tix go for big bucks, we balked ... I say, save the bucks for lift tix for the AZ daddy/daughter ski day that we should have in March, when the temps get nice and warm for the little ones.

My twins are transfixed on the TV for the three B/E dvd's that cater to their age. They pump their fists and lift up their legs when the swirly balls go round. I watch them in fascination like they're watching the dvd. I bought the entire 17 dvd set new on EBAY for $45. What a steal. I didn't know about Dora the Explorer, as I am a rookie at these things. I will look for bargins on those dvd's as well.

My 3 year old is a Dora nut; he loves Blue's Clues too.

Sometimes it worries me when he gets that transfixed stare at the TV going.

Our 4 month daughter loves to watch whatever is on the TV. We're constantly turning her away from it, its bad enough that I'm addicted to the damn thing...

My 3 year old loves Dora, Blue's Clues, Diego. I thought of taking him to the Wiggles Live, but the drive is a little too far for him. It would make for a very long day, for him and us. :)

My cousin's little girl was mesmerized by the Baby Einstein CDs.

It's amazing how little kids are influenced by the TV.

My 3 year old was afraid of spiders...his older brothers used to tease him about it.

My wife thought I was nuts, but I bought him a video of Spiderman cartoons. He loved it, and the whole spider theme got him into spiders.

Now he catches them and brings them into the house. My wife reminds me often that she must really love me to put up with this.

We have a bunch of the Baby Series or tapes.

Dad mutinied though so these days tapes range from
Lion King (waited in line in Hartford to get wife & daughter tickets) Dr. Suess Lorax & Sneetches & Green Eggs & Ham, Mary Poppins, Thomas (we aren't going this year to see him though, parents are keeing silent)

Dora & Wigggles are on way out although 2 1/2 year old likes Wiggles.

TV usually Thomas, Clifford, Dragon Tales, Fairy Odd Parents Kim Possible, Lilo & Stitch & Sponge Bob. May be weaning off Sponge Bob as she 5 1/2 year old is being to understand some of the obnoxious comments.

Watched bits of "The Hulk" over the weekend & pulled out a couple of my old (1978) Hulk comic books

X-Men on tonight on FX I think.....
