Back from the local ski shop..gear purchases..

Hey All,

I just visited the Sports Chalet which is near Route 309 and 22. My first ski shop visit of the 2008-09 ski season. I brought in my Nordica Supercharger Blowers to get some binders on them. I bought Head Mojo 15s with the extra wide brakes...the same binders that I have on my Rossi Scratch Sprayer BCs..I brought the Scratches in for a full tune up and to have several recent coreshots..epoxyed and repaired. I also bought a Head two ski bag, Da Kine gloves and another set of Heli Hanson upper and lower body underarmour. It will be nice to try out the Blowers..and have my Rossis back to life.

I spoke with the owner of Sports Chalet and they've been incredibly busy. Nestors stopped doing seasonal rentals and she said they've done over 350 seasonal rentals and you wouldn't know we're in a recession by all the gear that's been sold..it's great that we are actually having a cold winter..when I pick up my skis on Sunday..maybe I'll buy a Balaclava for Stoke since it's gonna be uber cold next week..

Congrats on the new purchases. Thumbs up for supporting the local ski shops. I really like the Sports Chalet. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff.
