shaping up to be one of the great spring weekends. plenty of snow & sunshine! terrain & lifts will be open at bear mtn this weekend. from the spinmaster at the kzone.

"For Saturday and Sunday we'll have additional terrain (Bear Mountain) and lifts open. In addition, Snowshed Double Chair #1 will be open for hotel/condo guests and overflow parking at the Snowshed lot - after K-1, Vale and the Access Road are full."

the latest i remember skiing bear mountain (meaning it was actually open) was early may in 1992. i highly doubt that'll ever happen again.

I wouldn't totally doubt it, OL has a ton of snow blown on it. Bearly, Upper Wildfire, and Upper Bear Trap hold snow fairly well, and Lower Bear Claw gets lots of snow blown on it, and snow from the parks/pipe can be moved onto it.
