Been away for a while....

It's been a very busy fall for me. I have taken on some new responsibilities at work and that takes a lot of my time. I am also getting my patrol ready for the upcoming season and have just renewed my own certifications as an OEC instructor. I've also been out and about living life to it's fullest rather than sitting in front of my computer. Almost losing my brother this past spring opened my eyes to how precious life really is and I've decided to live all of my precious present moments to the fullest. I am taking daily walks, working on reducing my weight, becoming more involved in life and it is great. I miss all of you, but I really love what I am doing for me. I will be back a little more frequently now that the weather is changing, but I now have a more healthy relationship with my computer and do not need to rely on it to fill my life.

Yeah - i'd suggest a cat or something...
Thats what I did... I got a cat.. And now i do all my computing on the cat... It's much more fullfilling but maybe not so healthy - for the cat that is.... Cuase if your job entails that you spend large chunks of time in front of a computer... Why not share it with a cat...? It may not seem fullfilling - but it pays the bills - for the cat....

Bob, my only losses were weight (and I don't want to find it), a negative attitude (and I don't want to find it) and an unhealthy relationship with my computer (and I really don't want that back either).

My brother has recovered and is doing pretty well now.

I'll try to get to some trivia for you soon.
