Bellwether constructed the Velocity Jacket from its EXO-Grid fabric. This is a lightweight material that is both wind and water repellent. At the same time it's breathable enough to allow excess moisture from perspiration to escape so that you don't become soaked from the inside out.
It is cut to fit a woman's silhouette, with a slightly tapered waistline. The jacket is secured with a full-length zipper that has been set into a zipper garage. The collar is lined with fleece so that it doesn't chafe your chin. A shock-corded waist holds the jacket from riding up, and a zippered back pocket holds a few small riding essentials. Reflective piping was added to increase your visibility in low-light conditions.
