Burke is hands down the best bang for the buck and safe bet when there are high winds. Even if the winds are high enough to knock off the quad then the poma still spins and you can still ski most of the mountain. Problem with Burke is that it doesn't get as much snow as the Spine, much more akin to Cannon than NoVT but still more snow than NH. These types of snow usually leave Burke hanging because they really don't get any up slope. Should still be good though.
If Stowe can run the double, that is a good bet. Surprised that one survives the winds though.
I would pick MRG over Bush on a windy day but MRG gets knocked off line. Smuggs I would think would be very likely to wind hold on a blustery day. Of course a smaller area such as Bolton with low vertical and fixed grips is always a safe bet.
I wouldn't exactly call the Jet "out of the wind" but it certainly is the most wind protected of Jay's upper mountain lifts. Though the Jet goes down too, it is often the last of Jay's upper mountain lifts to go down and not a horrible bet on a windy day.Jat has the Jet Triple that seems to stay out of the wind. You also get 50% off ski tickets if you present a season pass from another moutain
