Best Movie Endings...

i still have yet to see the return of the king. the first two movies made me want to vomit. i basically yelled at the screen throughout the entire movies. big fan of the book but thought the movie adaptation was lacking and took too many liberties for my liking.

here's another great movie that punches you in the gut at the end: primal fear.

Primal Fear was a pretty good one.

Despite many attempts, I have yet to stay awake all the way through any of the LOTR movies. In a way, i think it shows a faithful adaptation of the books, since there are whole blocks of pages I just haven't been able to bring myself to read. Kind of like Hugo's description of Paris in The Hunchback of Notre Dame, or John Gault's 40 page speech in Atlas Shrugged. Herman Melville does the same thing to me at times.

I have to say.. Pulp Fiction had a pretty sweet ending. Travolta and Samuel L. grab the briefcase and walk out of the cafe with some excellent surf music going...
