I'm amazed at how much leftover hard goods the ski shops still have. I wandered through all the Killington shops last week seeing if they had anything I wanted to buy for last Saturday's sales tax holiday. People didn't have much left in soft goods but there were still a ton of unsold skis left languishing at 50%-off or better.

:lol: I bet not. I think it's for leftover stuff from last year. Custom foot beds aren't technically "leftover," KWIM? Good question though! Dave did mine last year and did an awesome job on them!!

We usually hit the tent sales around Labor Day in the Mt. Snow area. It'll be interesting to see what's out there this year. Last year, they had a good amount of everything.
