As to the tougher parts of the mountain, I only know of Tram Line and Kinsman Glade, both of which I've never caught at the right time (enough snow). My knowledge of the mountain is limted only to what's on the map.
Aside from Tramline and Kinsman Glade (and Avalanche and Paulie's which you already mentioned), how about Middle Hardscrabble, Echo Woods, Lakeview Glade, Extension to Bypass, Mushroom, Global Warming, and Zoomer/Zoomer Lift? Just for starters on the map before you even start hiking...

As for "boasting", I wouldn't share info with you since you clearly have stated you don't ski trees must. But then again, I wouldn't share info on the net, regardless. You want to ski with me? I will take you down some secrets based on what is within your ability. No joke, I love showing people some fun options. Sometimes I don't know why I even bother...

Oh yea, I know why... someone reading this thread might think that Cannon is really flat and take someone inexperienced up there. I still can not understand why you don't think those upper mountain trails should not be intermediate instead of beginner. The only beginner trail I have ever skied that comes close to the pitch of those trails (perhaps exceeding slightly in select places) is Polecat at Wildcat. Please identify what beginner trail that you have skied that is the same pitch as Tramway or Upper Cannon. I could totally be off base here. I don't think I am, but I welcome more information regarding your conclusion.

Thanks for the feedback and kind invitation. I'd love to ski with with you and learn a bit more about the mountain. I hope that my abilties will let me take advatage of your offer.
Every now and then, I do manage to snag a day off to take advantage of the two-fer tickets. Perhaps our schedules will allow for this. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for some good snow.

Cool, that would be great - thank you.

I'm looking at possible two-fer Thrusday on 1/28, providing that there is some fresh snow coming by sometime next week. Next Sunday is also a possibilty - again snow dependednt. This weekend I gotta take my kids to Ragged.

enjoy

I've got plans to be up in Stowe. I'm looking forward to getting back to my home mountain, but truth be told, I'd love to be at my home mountain Ragged to see how it skis after this latest 8 inches or so.
