Hey All,
I'm back from a fun afternoon session at Blue mountain. I pulled into the lower lot around 1230PM and Zaldon was booting up and Atomic Jeff arrived a few minutes later. The temperature was 38 degrees under sunny skys. I saw Rodney in the parking lot and he said conditions were soft which made my Nordica Blowers a no brainer for the 3rd day in a row. We first skied Switchback which was piles of mad applesauce..then Razors which had some piles that were easy to plow through the the snow was pretty fast until Homestretch...it was windy today but nothing like yesterdays tropical storm force winds. Lazy Mile was crazy mile with a ton of carnage. Challenge was good and I got some steezy air off the Falls. Dreamweaver was OK and we lapped Paradise several times.
The guy who yelled at me Monday, Dave was doing speed control on Paradise so the three of us kept flying by him and getting whistled at but no chase..then one run he pulled over some guys so we could tuck through and spray them with snow..A-Jeff said my skis throw off a crazy amount of spray and I was spraying people left and right. We saw the kid who was with Hans Buckley the other day, Mike who is trying out to be a ski patroller..he's a nice kid and a good skier and he joined us for a few speed runs down Paradise. Sam of TruTv ski patrol fame was also in the hizzle. My skiers tan is loooking steezy due to todays bright sunshine..I should have used some SPF45..oh well..after 3 hours and 17 runs..we peaced out at about 3:50PM..all in all a really fun ski session..my legs are a little sore from mashing through the piles of smashed tators and today was my 8th day in a row skiing Blue the true..anyway you slice it or dice it, it was Just Another Day in Paradise.
I'll be there tomorrow for first chair...will you?????
