Three of my kids and 4 of the grand kids did Bolton yesterday. They had a really great time. All have Indy passes, and Bolton was not blacked out.

Not to be nosy, but when you 'stay an extra night' that on mountain or back towards Burlington?

I'd like to try this place in March as part of a mini Indy road trip I'm trying to put together.

Thanks.

I stayed on mountain in a king single at the hotel. With taxes it was $180. Nothing special but great rate for on the hill. I stayed free at a friend’s Airbnb in Morristown the night before and now I’m heading to the MWV to stay at a friend’s cabin because BW is forecasted to gain some accumulation tomorrow morning. Pretty thrifty 3 days of skiing for me.

I am going this weekend. Yesterday, their website claimed all snow wed-fri. Not sure I believe that
I lived on the hill for a couple of years and saw a lot of snow storms that were only snow for BV and other higher portions of the Green Mountain spine. Not making any promises, but I wouldn't count it out, either.

Was the room and facilities updated or pretty dated?

They’ve been updated for sure in recent years, but the base as a whole is pretty tired. Reminds me a lot of the old lodges at Burke and Smuggs. It’s like getting in a time machine.

That's what I thought. It's too bad because they have a great location for snow and for Chittenden County, but a lot of competition and no direct interstate exit. They have fought for decades to get one.

It's also pretty interesting that the family used proceeds from the sale of their family farm to build the resort. Where was that farm? The same location where I-89 intersects Williston Road/Dorset Street outside of Burlington. Pretty valuable real estate today.

nice pics, skied the hill in 1988. Looks like they've done a lot of upgrades .(y)

Hopefully, it's steeper.
