Silly boys! Don't you realize by now that the game is totally irrelevant?

Sheesh, you're supposed to be happy with the strangely violent one time commercials and watching 65 year old rock bands.

The Stones were the best part of the show.

I thought Godaddy.com commercial had more interest then the stones. Actually I thought the Stones were Great although I would have preferred three classics instead of the newer song in the middle.

Maybe something for the Seattle Fans like "You Can't Always Get What You Want..."

Both teams were pretty bad, a lot of people in Denver, Indy & New England know that they root for better teams than what we saw yesterday.

Did anyone else think that there were some really bad penalties? Like the one against the Seahawks for Offensive Pass Interference in the 1st Quarter? I thought that call was really, really bad...my friends, who did not know anything about the sport really, thought I was nuts. Am I wrong?

The Refs were products of a Parochial School education. You are bad. You are guilty. You have sinned. Now go stand in the closet for 2 hours. (speaking from experience....)

I think the offensive pass interference call was a judgement call. He did push off, defensive player backed up one step but it could have been a no call.

The Pitts QB DID NOT cross the plane therefore did not score. The ref DID blow this call. IMHO

Nope, both those calls were fine.

I thought the ball broke the plane, and even if it didn't, there wasn't enough evidence to overturn the ruling on the field.

As far as the pushoff call, I thought that was obvious. Everyone seems to be talking about that call, but you can't plant an arm into someone's chest and then take two steps towards the ball.

The one bad call in the game was the 15 yard penalty on Hasselback for a chop block, when all he really did was tackle the guy low. Oh, and there was a holding call that seemed kind of mysterious - a call that could have turned the game around.

Still, Seattle had their chances, they just couldn't capitalize. . . I think if that game was played again this Sunday, the Steelers would win again . . regardless of the refs.

It's over & that's okay

What's a Pro Bowl?, it's the least watched All-Star game going & that says something compared to Hockey & the no-defense NBA All Star game. The Slam Dunk Contest is more fun)

It's almost time for March Madness, just enough time to see who the pretenders are & who are the surprises. Magic Squares for the Super Bowl & & the NCAA brackets are the only two events I risk $$$ on.

Besides in CT the me & Women at UConn are pretty good. :p :D

Then it's Baseball Season !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thing is that he didn't touch the guy's chest...

Forgot about that bad tackle call on Hasselback.

Holding was the call of the day it seemed

Agreed.

Stones were the best part of the whole thing. They simply rocked. No overproduced "cough cough wardrobe malfunction cough" halftime show this time.

If I knew the stones were playing I would have actually watched the stupor bowl.

That game is the most gluttonous day of our year. You have drunk guys sitting around a tv, pigging out rooting for a team and then act like they actually had something to do with it when they win. Sitting on the couch is not a sport. Instead of sitting, how about grab a football and toss it around yourself. You may not win a ring, but the exercise will feel even better.

I haven't even scratched the surface of my football gripe, DONT GET ME STARTED ON BASKETBALL.

(if you havent figured it out, I hate watching sports on TV and have dedicated my life to insulting the concept)

I almost hate to admit this, but I forgot the super bowl was on and missed the whole thing.
I've got a good excuse though, It was so nice on Sunday that I brewed up a batch of beer in the backyard.

By the time I was done and cleaned up, I grabbed a bite to eat and popped in a movie. When it was over I went to bed. It wasn't until Monday morning when I realized I missed the game.
