I just got my copy of Meatheads Films latest, “Born From Ice” . I was great. I nice mix of their previous two films “Schooled” And “Epoch”. A little less documentary and a little less sophomoric. Just a bunch of guys going skiing. A bunch of guys that could give most of the skiers in Warren Millers films a run for their money. Lots of tree skiing and cliff jumping in the woods, a little backcountry, mad River Glen bumps… all great eastern skiing. The bonus features were every bit as good as the movie. All in all well worth the money.

I tried to go see at a screening in Norton last week at Wheaton college. Showed up to an empty auditorium. Not exactly sure what happened. I'll be sure to get my hands on it though.

I joined the Meathead family at the Ski Expo and picked up Epoch and Born from Ice. I enjoyed both..especially all the extras at the end. I even got my parents to watch Epoch since it was a documentary.

Just viewed mine. Great stuff. I also watched the Mount Washington and Alec Stall extras. Hope to watch more when I find some time. Great soundtracks too!

Ahhh, I want to see this. I went to order it but got denied just as I found the website. Apparently, I now know one of my Christmas presents. I guess I'll just have to wait until the holiday's to see it.

saw Born from Ice, last night. I have not seen Epoch yet, but BFI is def better than Schooled (and I liked and own Schooled). I also think they left out just enough of the locker room slapstick that schooled featured and included more tree/cliff/pow shots to make this one a keeper. i got a few laughs from this one, but the footage was pure VT stoke at its finest. the newfoundland footage was cool as well.

these guys are def getting better and better at video shooting and editing. you can see the quality has gone up, just since last year. experience and maturity will only make them better and better.

i've hacked around with video and its a huge time sink... Geoff and Rooster must literally spend months in front of the Mac editing stuff

Saw it at Columbia University last night and thought it was great. The POW they hit was unbelieveable.

Cool, so did I :) Great video, though it was a little too much terrain park-type stuff for my taste. I loved the stuff in the backcountry at Stowe at the beginning and then all the glades at the various areas..and the Newfoundland parts were cool too. As impressive as it is, though, I'm just not as into terrain parks, rail slides, and that sort of thing.

Definitely made me even more anxious to get out and ski! I picked up a copy of "Schooled," since I need to see more :)
