Resort: Bretton Woods

Weather: Sunny in AM Cloudy in PM 30+ Degrees Light to No Wind

Region: Mount Washington NH Region

Conditions: LSGR, Machine PPowder, Some Icy Bare Spots.

For whatever reason lodge WiFi wont let me upload photos. Will update when possible. Conditions were better than anticipated. Machine Made Snow was better at Summit than base with three fall line trails open top to bottom. While they state a larger trail count, the mountain does ski well coming off the Bethlehem Express front side high speed quad onto Cascade to the Rosebrook High Speed Quad to High Ridge to Scoop. Scoop was skiied out by noon but staying on the sides led to some freshies. It's pretty much man made snow but its in good shape on most of the mountain.

Best top to bottom was Upper Swoop to Sawyers Swoop to Bretton's Woods.

Upper in Between was skiied out but lower In Between was in decent shape until 2 when it became hot buttered corn.

I will probably return to Bretton later this week. Choices are really only Bretton, Cannon, Sunday River and Loon. Everything else in the area has limited selections open. Disappointed with what I've seen on Wildcat which would have been my first choice.

Its all man made at this point. Bretton was a pleasant surprise, great views of Mount Washington with nice terrain. Will return here to ski 102 trails and glades when conditions improve. Impressed with Lifties and lodge personnel from Omni resorts. It seems that Omni pays far better than most and these people genuinely enjoy their work. Pricey food but this is a classier resort than most. $5.00 for a locker but its New Hampshire where people leave their wallets on tables. Go figure.....

Heading to either Cannon ($40 half day) or Loon ($53 half day) as that's all my thighs can take after yesterday.
