"Blowing out the mice" is a phrase used to describe when a ski area primes and tests their snowmaking system by making a small amount of snow, often times used as a photo opp. There is some debate as to whether mice are really blown out of the guns... :lol:
Or it blows the mouse out in small little parts.I think it would have to be a REALLY small mouse to squeeze out the nozzles of the snow guns...

I'm thinking mixed precip, maybe more snow at 3,000 feet, all snow higher. The forecast was enough for me to change Saturday in the Whites for Sunday in the South Taconics hiking
