Heading out to pick up my kids leased skis for the season. This may be the last season for leasing (skis, boots) for my son. I may buy skis after the season and lease the boots next season. Who here leases their kids for the season? If not, what do you do?

I buy cheap and turn them around for the same price the next year.

I used to buy everything. Now just skis, after outgrowing boots 2 seasons in a row I now lease boots, but this year he is 12 going on 13 so, maybe foot is as big as it is going to get. With leased boots at least there was upgrade mid season if out grown. :daffy:

Have a lot of kids and buy equipment! With three girls, I believe the second and third kids eventually used everything again.

My daughter gets a lot my sons used equipment. Funny how that works, but save big $$ over the years.

I think my son is getting to the ski level where next year I'll buy skis. My daughter is still a couple years away. I lease the skis, boots & poles for $85 per child a season and no charge for exchanges during the season.

Thank God my youngest doesn't mind hand me down ski stuff! I was the fool shopping in July last year for ski stuff for my kids.
But this thread is a reminder for me, I better check to see if my kids feet still fit in their boots tomorrow and see wether I may be doing some more shopping.
