Mid-March I usually fly out to Denver, where I meet up with a buddy who lives there and another who flies in from San Francisco. We head to the hills and usually secure some condo in the Vail area that his wife gets cheap rates on.

Last spring I was able to somehow able to secure a pair of Colorado gold medal passes, which grant you access to every Colorado mountain. Probably the greatest accomplishment of my life.

Until my son was born in October.....which is why, there will be no buddy trip this year. Boo.

Oh, I forgot the high altitude gas pressure releif. You all know what happens when you got from 300ft to 8000 ft.

usually a weekend late march/early april...have hit K and SB...this year we'll be at Stowe/WF/MRG/Jay whomever has the best conditions for that weekend....we drive up late Friday night go right to a bar, when the bar closes we then worry about finding a place to stay....great time to be able to negotiate a price at 3am !!!!

If you're gonna stay out late then find accomodations, you've got to kill two birds with one stone and hook up while at the bar.
