I need to work on my intermediate bumps for an up coming exam. My home mountain doesn’t have any at the moment, so I’m looking for a place not to far from the Albany area. I have heard that Windom might fit the bill. Any feedback or recommendations would be appreciated.

In this case, Windham might be a better choice. I know they seed bumps in the intermediate runout area at the end of the Wheelchair/Wedeln area. Those are nice intermediate bumps to practice in.

There are no intermediate bumps at Hunter at the moment. Bumps are limited to steep double black terrain and a few steeper lines on diamond terrain. The lines were nice on Saturday, but they were getting very cross cut by the end of the day yesterday.

Grand Slam bumps at Jiminy Peak, save yourself some driving time...

There aren't any. At least there weren't any yesterday, but maybe this snow will help. They were going to make an intermediate bump run between Grand Slam and lower slingshot, but the weather just has not cooperated. There are some on Cutter, but that's not the best place to learn. I don't have the best knees so intermetiate bumps are my limit.

Well, that's where they usually set the intermediate bumps up. There weren't moguls on Wheelchair or Wedeln? If those 2 trails were flat, maybe they haven't had enough snow to seed the bumps in the runout area.

i was at windham a few weeks ago, there were no bumps at all. Some on wedel, but nothing useful for level 2 (that is what your exam is?) Considering recent weather patterns, i highly doubt anything has changed.

Best bet is Hunter...there were some bumps on jan6 when me peter and jim went.

There where some setting up nice on skier's right of the Foxes last night. Hopefully, they won't mow them down.
