It is getting good again, season of endless flurries is back.
It certainly is. I'm bummed I probably won't get up next week on Tuesday or Wednesday it's just gonna be too damn cold there. I have to.meet a.friend Monday at ragged but my heart will be at cannon.

When they gonna blow upper mittersill?

Looks like all the mittersill snowmaking upper trails have been getting buried the past few days and they are finishing up before the weekend

Hopefully they avoid the projected warm up this Sunday (going to be right at 31-32 as of today's forecast) and the conditions stay ripe.

Serious whales on barons. Heard they plan to push out early next week. SG events planned later half of next three weeks.

Snowmaking has been impressive, no let up this week while loon took their foot off the gas. Also blowing on tuckerbrook today.

Sounds like they kind of had to given the race schedule, but every snowmaker I know was nervous this week given it was so cold. Freeze ups and general miserable working conditions led to lots of mountains pulling back for a moment. Also GMP put in a curtailment so lots of VT mountains couldn't even blow if they wanted to. Well they could, but at some crazy rate like 18 bucks a KWH.

Gorgeous blue bird day after yesterday's squalls. Absolutely no quit in the snowmaking: skylight lit up, Middle cannon spot refresh, tuckerbrook and Taft resurface although more snow may have been landing on the liftline than Taft. Barons in process of being pushed out and fenced.

You ain't joking about them not letting up. The mtn is absolutely stacked with snow and snowmaking is still pedal to the metal.

The skiing is great today but the temps are dropping and windchill means I'll ski a couple more and do something warm.

Tomorrow should be the days. They can even out the drifts, the winds ease a bit, more snow and word is they're running the tram.

Whoever is running this place and all the staff are doing quality work. I thought I would be missing wildcat this season but I'm absolutely not.

Knee deep drifts up top, first tracks over the saddle was one of those runs you remember at the end if the year.

I hiked over the saddle a few times back in December didn't notice that it was closed...
Cool, I thought late January seemed a little late, but my friends who have a place there said it was the first time open all season and I hadn’t noticed anything open at Mittersill on the trail report other than the training slope and t-bar, until this past weekend. Did you take Skyline/Ridge Run/Dragons Drop/Access Trail to get back to the main base, that was the only way back on Saturday With Upper Barrons, Lift Line, and Cannonball all closed.

As I rethink it, it must have not been officially opened as I skied down Barron's. Just don't remember seeing a closed sign. So Cannon closed
