cant get north this weekend...

so i was wondering if anyone had any ideas about elk in PA, or hunter in NY. im from delaware so they are much closer. 50 degrees at hunter, 55 at elk. to warm?

If you have the choice I would recommend going to the Catskills. I was at Hunta today and there is a lot of snow on those mountains. Hunter's main slopes face southeast so they get alot of sun and soften very quickly. They didn't open west until about 12:30 today and even then the top was pretty chunky until about 1/3 of the way down. Belleayre and Windham face north and might not get as soft as the front side of Hunter. Plattekill should be ok this weekend too.

The Pocono's got deluged last weekend and might be on their last stand for this season. I'm actually planning to go to Elk tomorrow so I let you know what it was like.
