Capo Turismo Thermal Jacket - Men's
The Capo Turismo Thermal Jacket is one of those pieces that has the power to change how you view training in the winter. It's as well designed a thermal jacket as we've encountered. Its performance is the sum of a thoughtful blend of high tech fabrics.
It begins with Protegge, which is a medium weight, dual-layer polyester backed with a windproof and waterproof membrane. It's used on the front of the jacket to keep your torso insulated from wind and rain. Winter Micro Quattro is a heavier version of Micro Quattro to add insulation to the fabric's excellent moisture-wicking properties. It gives the jacket's sides, back and sleeves some heft and insulation and yet remains light enough to be great on crisp fall days. A traditional Super Roubaix is used on the cuffs to keep the wind from blowing up the sleeves and chilling you on descents. It also prevents the jacket from blowing up like the Michelin Man; it's a trick feature.Expect this jacket to keep you warm into the low 50s.
A two-way, lockable zipper allows you to dial your ventilation on the fly. Having this flexibility to unzip the jacket partially from the bottom is an under-appreciated feature in our opinion. Once you discover it for yourself, you'll wonder why you've ever stood to do without. Three back pockets give you all the carrying capacity you've come to expect and save you from having to fish under the jacket for more food. A silicone gel gripper keeps the waist in place and the jacket insulating all it's meant to. Reflective inserts at the back keep you visible in low-light conditions.
The Turismo Thermal Jacket comes in Navy Blue and in five sizes from Small through XX-Large.
