Ski racing does not mean anything to Vail. The focus is all on Epic. They’ve all but ended ski races at PCMR.The remaining NHARA races this year, originally scheduled to occur on bear, have all been moved. SG to barons, GS to cranmore. These are lucrative events, doubt bear runs again this year.
This is crazy to me. Registration fees alone for the event moved to barons this week approach $30K. That does not count F/B and companion tickets. Park City isn't hosting any alpine events this go around. Some of the events that were at PCMR in 2002 are going to Snowbasin.Um, Birds of Prey at BC says otherwise, not to mention the Olympics are coming back to SLC. Vail has their warts no need to go looking....
