Judsons has a new owner and he spent a pile of money fixing the place up, I hear the rooms are much nicer now.

The Carrabassett Inn is great, they have nice rooms and you have a restaurant/bar right there too.

Mountain view is about 5 miles north of the mtn, its not bad but there is nothing right there.

If you want to go North try The Spillover, very nice

Sugarloaf has been offering some pretty sweet deals on lodging so check with them first, ask about skiiers quarters at the Sugarloaf Inn

thanks for the reply, i booked the room at the carrabassett inn, i saw all the work going on at judsons when i was up there last summer, im going to check out the rooms this weekend

i checked with the mountain and the prices were ridiculous, they wouldnt let me book one night and even then the per night lodging rate was three times what i paid at kmart earlier this year through the moutain

The on mountain rates for lodging where expensive when I called about a room for thursday night and they wanted $113 for the inn and $143 for the Grand. If I do go I might stay at the Rangeley Inn as they are asking $84 and they have an excellent dinning room.
