Another vote for Black as a good value. There are other small mountains that offer much less. Typically, Saturdays are the hardest to get good deals anywhere. If you start early in the season and keep an eye out for promotions, you can average $30 per ticket or so.

Have you looked at what they have open though? Only 7 trails! That would be my guess as to why its so cheap.

Cranmore is very affordable, and I would imagine they would have more trails open as well.

They are all cheap!!! Well most of them. That is if you buy gas from Irving stations. They have a great "Buy one Get one Free" deal with two, eight gallons or more fillups.
Good for:
Black Mountain, Gunstock, Shawnee Peak, Bretton Woods, Ragged, Crotched, Pats Peak, King Pine and a few others including some Vermont places.

I have about 8 coupons in my car. That should be enough th last the rest of the year.

Never pay full price!!

good call regarding the amount of trails, but he didn't ask what the best value or what was the cheapest place with the best conditions. black mountain is cheap regardless of how much terrain they have open though, so the amount of terrain open is not indicitive of their price. simply put, all of the cheaper places in new england aren't going to offer very good skiing right now.
