Looks like this year will have the least days ever, worst spring snow ever, latest (real) opening ever, and earliest closing ever. Rumor has it that this Sunday may be the last day, not next Monday. Imagine how much an April closing would kill their PR.

I got a lot of good days in this season, despite the lack of snow I thought it was a pretty good year

that was one of the best seasons, got so many days in that year. I can remember being up at Sugarloaf the end of March and getting something like 17 inches overnight.

You echo my hopes as well....

In that season I was an ASC pass holder and it appears that I will be one this coming season...so maybe I will bring us some good luck.

I remember driving on Rt. 17 over the Appalachian Gap toward MRG and SB and the banks on the sides of the road were taller than the car. It was incredible. I skied MRG and there were no bare or thin cover spots anywhere. The next day I skied Whiteface which was by far the most fun I ever had there, and the Slides were even open. Only time I have gotten to ski them. I only took one run and did Slide 1. Now that it's been a number of years and I've never been back with them open I wish I had took the time to go up again and explore some of the other slides. While I realized it was a special winter, I probably took it for granted at the time. Jay received 571" that year. I didn't make it there as my first visit to Jay was the following year.

Despite the bad season out East, the West was amazing. This past season I would have never thought that I would have more days out West than East, but that's the way the cookie crumbles. My hopes are with everyone on this forum that the East Coast resorts will have a better season next year...
