I would just like to throw it out there that I hate all of you that are still in college. As the time comes when school starts up, I find myself missing it really bad. Hopefully this gets better with time...

I was just thinking of this the other day. My nephew starts this week at ZooMass Amherst. I wish it were me! :-? I really enjoyed my time on campus, and I didn't party much at all. I lived in dorms, campus apartments and off-campus apartments. Oddly, I liked the dorms the most.skibum1321 said:I would just like to throw it out there that I hate all of you that are still in college. I really want one to keep a cold keg of something on tap at the house...
I'm starting a program at Brandeis in a couple of weeks, but that's not nearly the same. I'll be working full time and taking one class a week. The class part is what I don't miss about college. I miss having all my friends right there, all the parties, all the skiing, Wilderness Program. Well you get the picture.ctenidae said:Two words: Proffesional Student.
I'm 32, starting graduate work in two weeks. I just wish it came with dorm life and keg parties.
indeed. though i no longer miss the social aspect as much. i lived it up in college. i left nothing on the table. and upon graduating college, i got knee deep into the boston club scene and partied hard both as a club goer and later a DJ. i have no regrets and feel no desire to relive the past.I get melancholy and do miss the social aspect of college from time to time. I do not miss the academic part of it though.
